On the request of the State Government, the Govt. of India allotted 50 gas agencies to the HP State Civil Supplies Corporation, at places where these were not economically viable as per the norms of the Central Govt. These 50 gas agencies are operating through 286** extension points to extend their coverage to far-flung rural areas.
