On the request of the State Government, the Govt. of India allotted 52 gas agencies to the HP State Civil Supplies Corporation, at places where these were not economically viable as per the norms of the Central Govt. These gas agencies are operating through 286** extension points to extend their coverage to far-flung rural areas.
